About C. Shane

Shane grew up in Morganton and lived most of his childhood in the Morganton and Glen Alpine communities where many members of his family still reside; after graduating from Western Piedmont in 1993 and Appalachian State in 1995 he returned to Burke County. He now resides in Valdese with his wife Stephanie, they have four children Grace, Garrison, Haedyn and Sarah. A real estate professional for 22 years, Shane loves showing off the area; he never meets a stranger and knows Burke County from east to west like the back of his hand. Shane has been a mentor and coach to many successful agents throughout the area. He is presently the broker-in-charge of 16 agents who are honored to serve Burke and the surrounding counties. Shane is very active in his local church; Shane has completed his training for the Council of Residential Specialists designation (CRS); Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation (SRES); along with the North Carolina Appraisal Coursework. Shane was voted Best Realtor in the Best of Burke 2024, 2023, 2022, & 2021! During his free time Shane enjoys spending time with family and friends boating on Lake James, traveling and enjoying watching Appalachian State University football, preferably from the Stands.
