From the pioneering spirit of my great grandmother, Clara, who blazed trails in real estate at 60, to the dynamic duo of my mom, Judy Phillips, and Aunt Barbara Schatan, known as the Schatan Sisters, I've inherited a legacy of excellence in this industry.
I have been in real estate since 2001 when I bought my first home. I earned my REALTOR® license in 2015, I've been deeply involved in the Seabright neighborhood, where my office is located. Serving both the local community and the broader Greater Bay Area, I'm committed to fostering partnerships and building a sense of community as a founding member of the Midtown Business Association. More recently, in 2023 I became certified as a CELA (Certified Expert Listing Agent) and a CREN (Certified Real Estate Negotiator) hosting art openings and receptions at Miritiz Real Estate and joined the board of the Santa Cruz Art League. I specialize in buyers, sellers, first time buyers, luxury properties, single family residences, relocation, trust sales, investments, and 1031 exchanges.
In 2023, I found my professional home at Miritz Real Estate, a boutique agency known for delivering top-notch service. Supported by a dedicated team both in and out of the office, including working with a team at the escrow and title company, transaction coordinators, property inspectors, general contractors, handymen, landscapers, and more, I ensure every client receives comprehensive support every step of the way.
My roots run deep in Santa Cruz, having grown up on the Westside and now residing on the Eastside with my husband, 17 year old son, (19 year old, son is in College in Southern California) seven chickens, and our beloved poodle, Ollie. When I'm not busy with real estate, you'll likely find me exploring different cultures through travel or enjoying nature and the cultural arts in Santa Cruz.
