About Candace
Candace joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago family in 1997 and has since dedicated her professional career to perfecting the art of buying and selling real estate. After spending 20 years as an actress and model, Candace switched gears and embraced her family roots in the real estate world. She has become a true industry leader and prides herself on her ability to perfectly meld these two great passions.
While it is easy to upgrade the countertops, swap out fixtures or paint a few walls, finding a home with the perfect and authentic “feel” takes time, focus and diligence. Candace continually goes the extra mile to understand the wants and needs of her clients. She develops strong, lasting relationships with her clients and serves as their dedicated advocate from the initial search, all the way through the closing date. She credits her years of theatrical training for her ability to effortlessly read a room and tirelessly compete until she finds the one place that makes each of her clients say, “I’m home.”
Candace understands the stress that comes with buying and selling a home, as it was her own selling experience that sparked her interest in the industry. Since joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, Candace was the 2014 top producing agent in her office and has joined the elite Top Agent Network (TAN) organization, representing the top 10% of all Chicago Realtors.
Having lived in the Chicagoland area for over 40-years and raising her family in Evanston, Candace has frequented many of the best city restaurants, neighborhood breakfast joints, local boutiques and an indefinite number of antique shops. She wakes up with the sun everyday to take a morning walk to the lake with a coffee in hand, and kicks it in gear by driving to-and-from the city and suburbs. Candace has served on the Learning Bridge Early Education Center board for many years, advocating for high quality affordable childcare for underserved families. Candace is also forever involved in the theatrical community where her husband is the Artistic Director of Northlight Theatre. She feels lucky to have all three of her children residing in the Chicago area, spending every minute available picking up, dropping off, serving up food and playing with her three (soon to be four) grandchildren.
