About Caren

As a native of Fairhope, Caren grew up playing along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, gigging flounder during Jubilees and fishing off the neighbors' piers or just sitting on the porch watching a storm roll across the bay. She went through the Fairhope school system, was active in the band and danced at the local dance studio. After graduation, she continued her education at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, earning a degree in Psychology, while also experiencing a once in a life-time study abroad program that allowed her to travel on a ship around the world to ten countries on four continents across three oceans. After college, she further pursued her traveling ambitions, living in places like Hawaii and Puerto Rico, but always called Baldwin County home. Upon her return, she earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil Engineering at the University of South Alabama. She worked as a Coastal Engineer, helping build beaches and living shorelines. She has also taught engineering courses for the local community college, and found immense joy in helping young, ambitious students achieve their goals. Ultimately, her favorite job is raising her daughter in the same loving, supportive community she grew up in.

Caren believes that the culmination of her background in Baldwin County and experience in such various fields of study all contribute to her ability to provide diligent services for you. She is hardworking, honest, and friendly.
