About Carissa

Hi! I’m Carissa, a proud Fargo-Moorhead native with a passion for homes and community. Growing up as one of five sisters, I spent a lot of time with my dad working on home improvement projects in his shop. Pair that with my mom’s love for HGTV, and it’s no surprise where my passion for houses comes from!

Although I was born in Fargo, I moved to the Oxbow area at a young age and graduated from Kindred High School. Afterward, I attended the University of Kansas (rock chalk!) to pursue my dream of becoming a residential architect. While that path didn’t feel quite right, I quickly realized I could channel my love for homes into helping others buy and sell them instead.

Faith is a cornerstone of my life, and being involved with Northview Church in south Fargo is one of my favorite ways to connect and serve. Outside of work, I love engaging in the community, whether it’s exploring street fairs and craft shows downtown or indulging in a shopping trip (probably spending more than I should!). I also love spending time at home with my cat, Rex, who’s named after one of my favorite Star Wars characters. (Yes, I’m a bit of a nerd!)
