I was referred to Jim Harrington to sell the first house I had ever purchased / raised my daughter in, a house that was super close to my heart! There is nobody I would trust more with selling my starter home than Jim and Cody. Jim was exceptionally kind, honest and thorough. Jim was also very efficient. He worked quickly, efficiently and effectively- while still being thorough and always kept me informed. He kept me in the loop, was transparent with what fixes needed to be completed in order to sell- and he even took the time to help arrange a team to complete these fixes effectively and correctly.
Cody, who also works for Carl Guild Associates and worked with Jim was just as exceptional. After his work at my house it looked so good I almost didn’t want to sell!! He also communicated effectively and ALWAYS completed a task going above and beyond.He put in a lot of time to make sure things were not just good, but great.Both of these men, were amazing to work with through, and through. I would recommend both of them whole heartedly.

I was referred to Angela Aresco and I’m so happy to have found her!!! I needed to sell my child hood home that had been in my family for five generations. Emotionally it was not easy at all . Angela is fantastic. She is very patient and caring and takes her time explaining things to me . Working with her is like working with a best friend that I trust completely. She had my house sold in a couple days . Now I’m moving again and I didn’t hesitate to hire her again. One of the many benefits of working with Carl Guild and associates is they provide on reservation a 14 ft box truck that you only have to put gas in , no charge to rent , It’s fantastic and the truck is like new it only had 25000 miles on it . It’s an Automatic yeah. I wouldn’t use any other real estate agent or company. They are the best!!!!

Carl is the absolute best of the best. His knowledge of the ins and outs of homes is invaluable. He will travel anywhere to show you any house and will know the market value in that area. He will get back to you in a timely fashion and makes you feel like a priority. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Carl. After a long journey of finding the right home for my girlfriend and I, Carl feels more like a friend at this point than a realtor. But as far as realtors go, there is nobody better. You should feel absolutely confident using him for all of your home buying needs.

The BEST experience ever. With kids, pets and a million other things in our daily life we were so overwhelmed with the process of selling our home and moving to another state. But Carl made it so simple, so stress-free that I can hardly believe we're done with the whole thing! We used Carl Guild for both the purchase of the lot we built our new house on and for the sale of the house we lived in for 30 years. Outstanding service on both the purchase and the sale transactions. Our agent, Candy Webb, was terrific as was the rest of the staff at CG. On top of that, they have moving vans available for use by their customers at no charge! Booking the vans online was a breeze. Not planning on moving again anytime soon but when we do we will definitely use Carl Guild!

Immediately after the holidays we where ready to start the process of finding a house. Our family of Five had definitely out grown our two bedroom apartment! Laura Beth was incredible! She made the each step of the home buying process as easy and dare I say enjoyable as one can possibly make it in this market. We hit the ground running looking at sometimes 4+ houses a day! Cieara Yanaros with Carl Guild and Associates was the best to work with. She worked with me on acquiring my first property which is an owner occupied 4 unit. It being my first I had so many questions and concerns, but she was able to answer everything in a timely manner and make the process so easy. She went above and beyond to work with my situation of being a seasonal construction worker by trying to work out a deal for early occupancy or extending the closing date because I couldn’t acquire a mortgage until I went back to work in a couple months. The house we found is better than I even imagined it would be. We had our search set on a duplex, but I ended up getting a rent ready 4 unit. She is friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and goes above and beyond for her clients. I grew up in CT and moved to California 11 years ago. I never thought I'd move back but the pandemic shifted our priorities.

My husband and I were mentally preparing ourselves for a long and arduous journey with how insane the market is right now. Especially being from out of state, we worried the impact that this would have on our home search and mortgage process. We expected it would take months and much heartache... well... we met Laura Beth on a Saturday, saw our first home on Thursday, made an offer Friday and had it accepted on Monday!

Laura Beth is the agent you want in your corner. She is transparent and patient through the entire process. She is on top of it with communications and in her approach through the bidding/purchasing process. As first time home buyers that could not physically be present, we trusted Laura Beth fully to understand our priorities and steer the ship. She took the time to understand our current and future needs, offering advice and guidance through our many questions. She also made recommendations for our mortgage lender, inspector and real estate attorney. We are so grateful for our team and confident the rest of the process will be a breeze because of how professional, thorough and awesome they are.

In July, we'll close on our perfect home. It's the place we will start our family and create incredible memories with our loved ones. We owe that to Laura Beth's tenacious and effervescent nature.

We stumbled upon Carl by accident, and could not be more thankful for the results. I am in sales myself, and therefore have a pretty high standard for quality customer service - it pains me when I see lazy salespeople take the easy route, which in my eyes doesn’t just reinforce the negative stereotype already earned by sleazy sales people over the last few decades, but also rips off the consumer, depriving them of the experience they deserve (and are paying for).
Thankfully, before we could be let down by any typical subpar person or organization, we met Carl.
Carl exceeded any expectation we could have had. The house we bought was unique, and sat on complicated property lines, encompassing land that to us was equally important as was the house itself.
Somehow Carl had already researched the information on how to point out the important landmarks of the property, and even provided us with additional enticing bits of knowledge that further illustrated the picture of the home and its history, which all culminated in our realization that this was the only home for us.

I was so pleased with my experience with Carl, I immediately wished I knew more people in CT to whom I could refer Carl’s services.
Unfortunately, however, my family is all in MA, as are most of my long term friends outside of work. It is for this reason especially that I am writing this review.
Carl gave us amazing service, invaluable advice, and most importantly, he gave us the peace of mind of knowing we were working with someone we could trust.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff, diligently worked for us during the 6 months it took us to find our home! Very flexible, whether it was viewing several houses in one day, or switching our financing options to widen our search, we always felt that our realtor Lynn was on our side.
