Carol was a great real estate agent. Carol helped my husband and I purchase our home in Glencoe, Illinois, and was so patient and helped us through the process of finding our dream home in a very reasonable manner. She was not pushy at all (something I valued) and nearly every weekend in the Fall and Winter (trekking in the snow and rain) was available to go with us to open houses and spent a great deal of time with us to help us figure out/guide us through the process of buying a home on the Northshore. She was very savvy about the local housing market. Her years of experience in the industry paid off for us and it also truly showed in the way she handled our home purchase in such a professional manner. On a personal level, she is an absolutely lovely person and a pleasure to work with--I give her a glowing recommendation to friends, family and colleagues!

Carol Hunt is a PHENOMENAL real estate professional that I can recommend most highly! Among her many strengths, two stand out for me. The first is her ability to know how to obtain maximum value for your home. Carol will only recommend changes that she knows will bring a net added return to the seller. She was able to help me with paint colors, carpeting, and staging etc., relieving me of the uncertainty and burden of making these decisions.

An even greater strength of Carol is her ability to understand that buying and selling a home is often not just a business transaction, but an emotional process. For me, selling my home was a difficult decision that would change my life in many ways. It even caused me to waiver and take my house off the market after receiving an offer. Yikes! Nevertheless, Carol put my psychological well-being above closing the deal and gave me the space I needed to resolve my misgivings. Five weeks later, when I was ready to proceed, we put my house back on the market and sold it within two days for over the asking price! Carol was a great strategic advisor and salesperson, helping us stage our home, price it right and introduce it to the marketplace at the right time, in the right way. We lived in that house for almost 30 years, so leaving wasn't going to be easy. She was great to work with and honest about what we needed to do to make our house most marketable. Carol's network of service providers made last minute home repairs and enhancements easier and quicker. The most telling thing is the result: three good offers in the first five days on the market. She also helped us find our new home, so two excellent outcomes and a big transition for us that went entirely according to plan.
