Carol Smith is a real estate professional who assists sellers and buyers in the greater Columbia, SC area. She focuses on the communities surrounding Lake Murray (Lexington, Irmo, Ballentine, Irmo, Peak, Chapin, Little Mountain, Prosperity and Newberry) and northwest Columbia in Lexington, Richland and Newberry counties.
Carol works with EXIT Palmetto Real Estate Services located in Irmo, SC. EXIT Palmetto has been serving the northwest Columbia area as a locally owned and operated real estate office since 2014. They service the residential, property, property management, investment, and commercial needs of a wide range of clients. Carol was born and raised in Durham, NC where she met her husband, Greg. She attended North Carolina State University where she earned a BS in Computer Science. She worked as a computer programmer until her first daughter was born in 1999 at which time, she became a stay-at-home mom. She has been blessed with three wonderful daughters.
In 2008, her family moved to Chapin, SC to enjoy lake living and raise our girls in an excellent school district In 2013, she became an assistant teacher in the four year old class at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church where she taught for five years.
Carol has always been interested in real estate and with the motivation from a friend and real estate agent, she received her real estate license in 2019 and joined the experienced team at Exit Palmetto. Exit Palmetto works as a team providing a wealth of knowledge and technological tools designed to sell or purchase real estate in our area.
