About Carole

Carole grew up in Idaho on the back of a big paint horse named Paul Bunyan. Her parents were grocers and restaurateurs, so she learned early on about the importance of serving the public well and about building positive, lasting customer relationships.

Carole’s clients over her 15 years in real estate speak highly of Carole’s ability to communicate, her rich business background, and her fair dealing. She has both high-end residential, including farms and estates, and commercial experience, and has worked with clients wishing to launch farm- based businesses, wineries, and event centers.

Prior to her real estate career, Carole headed an international business strategy consultancy for nearly 20 years, serving large corporate clients from offices in the US, London, Rio de Janeiro, and Sydney. Before that, she was a senior executive in the telecoms industry, where she managed marketing, sales, and strategy development in the early days of commercial communications satellites.

Carole is a passionate historic property preservationist, land conservationist and was previously chairman of the Land Trust of Virginia. Her undergraduate and graduate work is in business and marketing, and she is a credentialed executive coach. She holds the Graduate Realtor Institute and several other real estate industry designations.
