Located “right in the middle of everywhere”, Casey Thumann lives in Colorado County, conveniently an hour and a half from Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. Her accessibility to all locations helps her represent clients on a variety of types of land, homes, and price ranges. Casey has a passion for rural real estate, veterans, and all first responders and strives to help her clients exceed their goals.
Casey previously worked at Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty and was honored as a member of the Circle of Excellence. She brings a wealth of experience from her years of law enforcement and community involvement. In her first year of real estate, she sold approximately 3 million dollars of properties and approximately $4 million in 2022. Now an Agent for Bubela Real Estate, Casey provides services including comparative market analysis, marketing, open houses, and negotiations. She will walk you through each step of the buying and selling process.
Casey was born in Weimar, Texas in Colorado County, grew up in Bellville, Texas in Austin County, and lived in Brenham, Texas in Washington County. After high school, she served seven years in the US Army and was discharged as a disabled veteran. She then continued her education and received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
As an active law enforcement officer going on 13 years, she is currently serving as a reserve deputy for Fayette County. Casey knows these counties and communities well from years of serving them. Her children attend public schools where she is an active volunteer, a substitute teacher, and high school band booster president. She also has two child currently attending college in Texas.
When not connecting with her clients and network, Casey cultivates her artistic side and can be found in her craft office creating custom tumblers. With a family of avid hunters, she spends a lot of time in the sprawling Texas countryside with her family.
