From our very first meeting, I could tell Cathy had gravitas. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, understood my goals, and made the entire process enjoyable. After calling my condo home for 13 years, deciding to sell was incredibly emotional. I wasn't just leaving a home—I was saying goodbye to countless memories and a historic Chicago neighborhood that meant a great deal to me. I needed an agent who could capture the unique character and charm of both my condo and the neighborhood. Cathy absolutely delivered.

One of the first things Cathy did was bring in an interior design consultant, Theresa, to help me stage my home. I was genuinely surprised and grateful that such a valuable service was included. We had been searching with another realtor for several months but kept losing out on properties before firing them and going with Cathy. She came highly regarded and all the accolades are on point. A great listener, Cathy offered her wealth of experience to help make difficult decisions easier, such as how much to improve the home and property to provide the greatest return on investment and to sell the home as quickly as possible. Cathy was great to work with! She took the time I needed to explain the buying process. As we looked at homes, she pointed out the good things and the bad things (details) in each place that I would not have known to look at being a new homeowner. She shared tips how to clean or fix little things we saw in each place so those things wouldn’t scare me off if I liked everything else in the home. She took extensive time walking me through the contact. Anytime I texted a question she was quick to respond. She was my advocate through the whole process. She sent assertive emails to the lender and/or lawyers and also got on the phone to move things along when necessary. When I was stressed with the process or disappointed an offer wasn’t accepted, she took time to talk. She was very empathetic and encouraging. I didn’t realize just how much a realtor does and how closely they work with the lender and lawyers. She excelled at her job. I am happy to call her friend and will definitely refer her to others as an awesome realtor.
