Cathy is an amazing realtor and knows her stuff! She was our agent for both the buying of our new property and selling of our old. We had been searching with another realtor for several months but kept losing out on properties before firing them and going with Cathy. She came highly regarded and all the accolades are on point. She understands the market and its fluctuations and level sets expectations from a selling and buying POV which is much needed and appreciated as this can be an emotional process driving you to make decisions which may not be to your best interests. She goes the extra mile for her clients time and time again. She seems to know everyone in the realty space and is not shy to make connections to give that edge. As a first time home buyer I quickly realized how competitive and difficult today's market is to navigate. However, with Cathy, I felt we were always one step ahead. She made herself available whenever needed and was able to provide advice, pivot and react as new homes came on the market. Most importantly, Cathy truly took the time to understand what I wanted in a home and fought to help me find it. Her enthusiasm and care from the very beginning gave me such a sense of security as I knew she was looking out for my best interest with each and every home we saw together. She is knowlegable about the industry and was able to point out the good and questionable items of the houses we visited. Being a first-time home buyer is an extremely daunting experience. Working with Cathy was truly terrific from start to finish. She is extremely knowledgeable and was able to clearly communicate every step of the process in a way that made sense for someone with very little understanding of the real estate market. After interviewing 4 other realtors, I am so glad I selected Cathy to sell our family home of 63 years. She was sensitive to our situation and flexible with our needs and desires. A great listener, Cathy offered her wealth of experience to help make difficult decisions easier, such as how much to improve the home and property to provide the greatest return on investment and to sell the home as quickly as possible. She also referred us to businesses that both she and other clients have used with highly satisfied results (I will be hiring the painter again for my own place). Cathy was great to work with! She took the time I needed to explain the buying process. As we looked at homes, she pointed out the good things and the bad things (details) in each place that I would not have known to look at being a new homeowner. She shared tips how to clean or fix little things we saw in each place so those things wouldn’t scare me off if I liked everything else in the home. She took extensive time walking me through the contact. Anytime I texted a question she was quick to respond. She was my advocate through the whole process. She sent assertive emails to the lender and/or lawyers and also got on the phone to move things along when necessary. When I was stressed with the process or disappointed an offer wasn’t accepted, she took time to talk. She was very empathetic and encouraging. I didn’t realize just how much a realtor does and how closely they work with the lender and lawyers. She excelled at her job. I am happy to call her friend and will definitely refer her to others as an awesome realtor.
