I met Catherine Hammill in late 2020, when my fiancé enlisted her to assist him with the sale of his home. I had heard much already about this fantastic lady, as she had handled multiple real estate transactions on his behalf. It was apparent from our introduction that she possesses skills and expertise well above and beyond her professional colleagues. I had the misfortune of listing my home near Hartford CT, about a week before the Covid lockdown. Understandably, this situation presented a unique set of challenges. However my experience and results were not what I would wish upon anyone trying to sell a home.
I wish I could have used Catherine as my agent. She went to work immediately to list my fiancé’s home. Because he has limited access to email etc during his work day, Catherine included me in correspondence to help assist the sale. We were given the use of an app to help with scheduling of showings, as well as completion of steps in the listing process. A unique website was created, just for the listing of his home. Communication was prompt and thorough, and all questions were welcome and answered clearly. Beautiful color fliers were immediately printed and available for visitors. Extra care and precautions were taken to ensure visitors to the home felt safe and that the home was kept clean. I am still in disbelief about the level of technology, expertise and attention Catherine provides. And she makes it all look “easy”.... his home was under contract within a few days of listing, and thanks to her follow-through the sale was smooth. Catherine was proactive in making sure all players were handling their responsibilities as expected. I am confident that if I had been able to use her for the sale of my home it would have resulted in a much better outcome.

In 2009, I had a home on the market for over 8 months without success of a sale. I decided I needed to change my agent and that’s when I met Catherine. It was a tough market, however she had a totally different game plan. The house sold within a month after taking over the listing. Since then I have worked with Catherine on the purchase and sale of 5 more properties (10 transactions). These properties were a mix of income, condo and single family homes. Catherine’s experience and knowledge of the area is second to none. Some of the properties were out of her zone, but she was not afraid to commit herself to the same level of professional care as the clients in her area. She helped me with handling and coordinating multiple steps in the buying and selling process to make sure each transaction was solid. Catherine has committed herself completely to the career of real estate and is fully dedicated to her clients. In all the years she has been an agent, she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and professional contacts. I intend to continue to use Catherine for any future transactions and recommend her to everyone. She knows how to make sales a success in any market.

Catherine Hammill was our agent when we sold our home in Stow, MA. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and she exceeded our expectations in every way. She worked very hard to market our home in every way she could. She had a dedicated internet site for our house, helped us stage it correctly, mailed flyers to the local neighborhood, arranged a video and 3D tour inside the house and drone pictures of house from above. Due to her efforts, we had multiple offers on our property in less than a week. Whenever we had any concerns, she was quick to reply and get resolution for us. She is an excellent communicator and worked diligently to get us the best price for our our sale. Catherine gets our highest recommendation!!

What an extraordinary journey we had with Apple Country Homes and Catherine Hammill. She guided our family through the selling our parents’ home during the early days of Corona Virus emerging here in Massachusetts. We lost our first buyer two weeks from close. Catherine got the property back on the market with new marketing and 3 days later had a considerably better offer than the first in hand. A complicated sale involving many moving parts. Catherine's professionalism, long time knowledge of the Stow area and most importantly her ability to emotionally ride with the ups and downs of a complicated family, was truly a gift. Catherine knows the local market around Stow, Hudson, Sudbury, Concord, Acton like the back of her hand. She’s as patient as a Buddhist monk and warm and friendly as a lab puppy. You’ll enjoy the real estate process with Catherine’s no-pressure style and that’s not to be discounted in a process that can sometimes unnerve even the most grounded people. Do yourself a favor and, at least, give Catherine a call to get a feel for the person who could be helping you negotiate one of the biggest transactions of your life.
