Cathy Lacy

Cathy has spent much of her life working in and around real estate; in fact, she and her husband built their first home together. “It was a fascinating process for me to watch our house transform from a dirt lot to a home,” she says. “It is fun and rewarding to build your own home.” Home building for others, too, became a successful venture for the couple.

Cathy soon realized the importance of having the expertise to sell the homes she and her husband built. She obtained a real estate license, eventually her broker’s license, and now owns DwellHop Real Estate. Cathy’s dedication to her clients and commitment to superior service has earned her a variety of designations in the field, including membership in the Graduate Realtors Institute. She is also a Certified Residential Specialist-- the highest credential awarded to sales agents, managers, and brokers.

Cathy enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and snowshoeing with her energetic border collie, Murphy--especially in Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Area, where changing seasons bring new discoveries on every outing. Cathy also volunteers with the Madison Audubon Eagle Watch, a DNR-sponsored tracking group. Still, Cathy finds lots of fun in her job--an enthusiasm that is contagious to her clients and her team.

Thirty years later, Cathy knows she made the right career decision--a perfect fit for her and happy clients alike. She enjoys putting her valuable experience to work every day with many returning client-friends, and new ones, too. Cathy cannot wait to help you find your dream home!
