Cathy Reed

Born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, Cathy Reed fell in love with the beauty of North Carolina as an undergraduate student at UNCW. Moving on to N.C. State to complete her master's in chemistry, she became very familiar with the Triangle area and with all the diversity it has to offer. She accepted an offer from her professor right out of grad school to work in his start-up lab, which proved to be challenging and important work. Realizing she thrived on the positive energy of helping others, Cathy eventually transitioned into the sales profession and found her passion in meeting and working closely with a wide variety of people. She knew for certain her goal was to remain in the Triangle and established her roots here by purchasing her first home at the age of 25. Cathy delighted in the process of searching for the perfect place to call her own and with guidance from a knowledgeable realtor, quickly made good on that goal. Five short years later, she sold that home for a profit, found and renovated a condo, and relocated to Downtown Raleigh. Both experiences propelled Cathy to her career in real estate- the perfect melding of her sales experience, genuine pleasure in working closely with people, and her satisfaction in searching for and finding the perfect property. Cathy brings the same enthusiasm she had for her own property ventures into her real estate career and she looks forward to helping you sell your existing home or finding you a perfect property to call your own.
