About Celina
In my late 20’s, I had finally decided it was time to make the biggest investment in my adult life and buy my first home. I was referred to a realtor by a co-worker that had just recently purchased his first home, and after calling and setting up an appointment, I met him at his office in Tempe.
Being a first-time buyer and completely naive to the real estate world, I found myself completely overwhelmed and intimidated by the unknown. After meeting with my realtor, and I say that loosely, we narrowed down location and bedroom/bathrooms specifics and he referred me to a loan officer to begin the pre-qualification process. Still a little hesitant but excited to begin this new chapter in my life, I met with my loan officer (that too is said loosely) and found myself pre-approved for a loan. Step number two was a success and although there was still so much unknown I found the excitement about this new adventure growing.
Throughout this process I saw three properties and in the end decided buying a home wasn’t for me. Looking back now I realize buying a home was not only for me, it was the perfect time in my life to do so! I had a great job, great income and no debt! In retrospect, I now realize the one thing that kept this purchase from happening was the fact that I was in this transaction alone. Because of the lack of education on the process, lack of information about programs for first time buyers, lack of investment in me, the process and lack of follow-up on my realtors part the unknown made my decision for me. It is for this reason that I decided to get into real estate.
Looking back on this experience, I realize the interaction with my realtor and loan officer were the most forced interactions I had encountered. I sat there on the opposite side of their desk feeling like I was in this alone; feeling like a task that needed to be completed and moved along to the next step. Not knowing any different I figured this was just how big transactions were handled because after all, we had no relationship. This was strictly a transaction.
Why choose Celina to be your realtor?
? According to a poll by the National Association of Realtors®, the #1 customer frustration is a lack of communication, both during and after the transaction. ?
· Service - I value relationships more than transactions. I do not view being your realtor as a job but as a honor to serve and represent you and in one of the biggest investments you will make in your lifetime and I do so by making YOU the biggest investment in mine.
· Knowledge - Real estate transactions have become increasingly complex! I understand that the more you know, the more comfortable and confident you will be throughout this process. I want you to walk away from this experience knowing without a doubt you made the best, most informed decision of your life! It is my duty to act as a conduit to lenders, manage the escrow process, guide you through all contingencies, inspections, closings and attend to your needs beyond the close of escrow.
· Commitment - You are my #1 priority. My commitment to you is not just through close of escrow but a lifetime commitment. In a world where people are invested only in themselves, I want you to know that throughout every step, my investment was soley in you and in that I will know I am making a difference.
