About Chad

In Chad Vincent’s own words, “the High Country is so much more than just another small mountain resort area. It’s the place where I have met lifelong friends, developed my career, donated many hours to the community, and still managed to find time to play on the mountain- in essence, I discovered a place to grow roots- to call home.”

After growing up in the real estate and development business, Chad Vincent obtained his real estate license at the early age of 19 while attending UNC-Chapel Hill. Upon graduating in 2002 with two degrees, Chad found his way back to his mountain community and began working in the family business at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Vincent Properties.

Chad Vincent is now the Broker in Charge of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Vincent Properties and a member of Team Vincent, where he works alongside his father, Jay Vincent, and Melissa Boone. Chad Vincent has served on the Grievance & Professional Standards Committee since 2006, as local director since 2012, and was the President of the High Country Association of REALTORS© in 2018. Chad and his team have been voted by the community three times as Watauga County’s BEST Realtor® in 2014, 2019, and 2020!

Being a highly productive agent, Chad admits to not having much “free time.” He simply chucks this up to having a passion for the business. To help bring some joy to his life, Chad adopted Finn, a Shiloh Shepherd with a unique personality. The pair, along with Chad’s wife Tomie, like to hike large acreage tracts of land or simply enjoy a movie! If you stop by the office or work with Chad, you will more than likely get to meet the “Wolf.” Finn even has his own section in the Vincent Properties Newsletter, “Fun with Finn,” where he highlights the great events happening in the High Country. In 2020, their little family welcomed Miss Clare June Vincent into the world!
