A native of Cartersville and a resident of Rome, Mr. Long received a BBA from Kennesaw State with a double major in Marketing and Management.
Charles has an extensive business background, having owned and run a furniture and appliance retail store in the Cartersville area for a number of years prior to a career in real estate. Charles attended the Barney Fletcher School in Atlanta, earning his real estate license and the Realtor designation in 2004. Since then Charles has used his knowledge and experience of real estate and business background to assist buyers and sellers in all aspects of the real estate market.
Mr. Long has experience in foreclosure transactions, HUD properties, Land and Acreage, as well as Commercial properties. With multiple million dollar years in the industry, Mr. Long is proud to be associated with Ayers Realty, a five star company in North Georgia.
A United States Army Veteran, Charles is a current member of the Greater Rome Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Rome Exchange Club, and Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past member and director of the Cartersville Rotary Club and Georgia Home Furnishings Industry, past member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, a 1998 graduate of Cartersville-Bartow County Leadership, past director Cartersville Downtown Merchants Association, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Bartow Juvenile Court. Mr. Long has also been active with the United Way and the Atlanta Ski Club.
