Charles White

Chuck White is prepared to work and serve your real estate needs in Silverton, Salem, and surrounding communities in the central Willamette Valley.

Born and raised in northern California, Chuck came to Silverton over 45 years ago as a teacher and coach at Silverton High School having graduated from Willamette University in 1972. Chuck moved from the classroom in 1990 to work as an administrator in the role of Director of Personnel and Curriculum for the Silver Falls School District until his retirement in 2004. He joined Silverton Realty in July 2005 as co-principal broker having maintained his Oregon real estate license since 1978.

Chuck lives outside of town on a small Christmas tree farm with his wife Sara. Their children are now grown and developing their careers and families. Tony and his wife Sara and family live in The Dalles where Tony manages his own State Farm Insurance office; Kathleen and her husband Dennis and family live in Castle Pines, CO near Denver where Kathleen works as a pediatric dentist and Dennis is part owner of a Prosthodontist practice; Heather and her husband Joseph and family live in Washougal, WA where Heather owns her own graphic design business (Studio 21) and Joseph is a salesperson for Nautilus Fitness Equipment in Vancouver, WA; and Jennifer lives in Beaverton and works as a graphic designer for Navex Global in Lake Oswego.

Chuck has always been active in the community both as an educator and as a community volunteer. He has served on the board and as President of the Silverton Area Chamber of Commerce; is a founding member and Secretary of the Silver Fox Foundation; is an active member and music minister at St. Paul’s Catholic Church; and is the current President of the Silver Falls Family YMCA Leadership Council. In 1996 Chuck was honored in being selected Silverton’s 1st Citizen for his commitment to the community as an educator and volunteer.
