I have known Cheryl for over 30 years and have worked with her professionally on countless transactions. She is as well versed in the transaction as anyone I have worked with and continues her attention to detail throughout the deal, always keeping the best interest of the clients at the forefront. She routinely attends closings to make sure it goes smoothly and is not there simply to collect a paycheck, as seems to be the case with so many others.

Our realtor, Cheryl Shurtz, was awesome! She was with us every step of the way during our journey. She always came up with a solution to any problem we had. She was patient, kind, and very thoughtful. She was also very helpful. She kept us on track by making a calendar to keep track of what we were to do next, provided extra boxes for us, and making labels for our boxes. She is one heck of a realtor! I would recommend her to anyone.

A trusted surveyor and an attorney recommended Cheryl as a realtor for us. Her presentation stood out among others for its accuracy about our house, and the amount of effort she invested for acquiring information about comparable houses on the market in our neighborhood and in Wheaton. Her information included asking and closing prices of homes within the range in which our home would probably fall and noted the amount of time that lapsed between listing and sale. The documentation also included materials to help us understand the seller’s responsibility in Illinois because we have never sold a house.
Cheryl’s experience with staging a home provided guidance for us room-by-room about the work necessary to stage our home for better appearance online and enhance its appeal for visits by potential buyers.
During the marketing period, Cheryl communicated with us regularly through email and phone calls and graciously answered our questions. She informed us consistently about her marketing efforts, and potential buyers’ interest along with their feedback. We were grateful for her expertise because we had a deadline to sell the house, and once the contract was signed, she worked with our attorney to prepare for the closing to meet the deadline. I had the best experience ever trying to find a place where my daughter can go to Glenbard West. Cheryl was amazing she picked the best places for me to see found my perfect townhouse made it feel seamless. She made my experience feel great after my nightmare selling my house. She also made it so memorable I remember my one year anniversary in my townhouse I received a gift it was a personalized ornament saying happy one year anniversary to me and my daughter I cried it was the cutest thing. Who does that. Love her to death. She still sends things on special holidays. I will be selling my town house in the next two years as I start my new journey. I own multiple condo units all but one rental units. When unit becomes available call Cheryl or Chris for opinion of sale value and rental rate. I then decide to either rent or sell and just turn leasing/sale of unit for them to handle. Final sale price is generally close to projection and rental rates very close to recommendation. Rental or sale they make transaction easy.
