45+ years experience in the real estate industry as the founder, owner and broker of Hanmi Realty in Flushing since 1978 as the first Korean American owned real estate brokerage in NYC. An experienced property investor, manager, developer, notary, founder, first president and currently one of the board of directors within the Korean American Realty Association "KARA", a nonprofit of NY established in 1996 empowering Korean real estate professionals based on expertise, trust and supporting community growth. KARA consistently hosts various seminars, hands-on training and large-scale exhibitions to equip its members with professional knowledge and up-to-date information amid the changing real estate market.

Former Queens community board #7 member.  The board plays an important advisory role in dealing with land use and zoning, the City budget, municipal services and many other matters relating to the community such as transportation, housing, education, youth and senior issues.  Also a former board of director for the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS) is the oldest and largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization assisting Korean Americans and other immigrant communities in the Greater New York City area with economic empowerment, social well-being, health and wellness.
