About CHRIS
My name is Chris Kearns. I am a 2 time Auburn graduate ( Building Science '98 & Community Planning '10) and an Auburn resident since 1995.
This business started as a way for me to sell some of my multi-family residential properties in Auburn, but it has grown larger in scope over time.
When I was finishing college, my career goal was "be a professional investor". But when I realized that I liked wearing shorts more than I liked wearing suits, and I wasn't a big fan of shaving every day. It didn't take me long to figured out that I wasn't cut out for life in the banking world - too stuffy for my style. Combining my natural aptitude for 3D spaces and places with a talent for numbers and deal structuring led me to Real Estate investing.
From working as an estimator for an apartment construction company to selling mobile homes, moving on to buying condos, then to buying apartment buildings and doing condo conversions, and then Property Management, I have pretty much done it all. Now I am looking to change my role in the industry, and use my past experience as a resource for others. I have learned a ton of valuable lessons, to be sure.
At some point in the 2013-14, I realized I am NOT on a train track, where the direction of the track in the rear view mirror had to determine the path in front of me too. I began to see that my Real Estate career could be more like the flight of a helicopter: able to move forward, backward, left and right, while also allowing me to rise up and see the big picture or drop down and see the details. This business is part of seeing the big picture, and sharing my experience through a different role.
Since obtaining my Alabama Real Estate Broker's License in early 2015, I have worked with both experienced investors and newbies here in Auburn to help them reach their goals. I look forward to working on some new deals, and helping other investors - buyers or sellers - have as good of an experience investing in Auburn as I have. Even better, hopefully.
