Chris Purcell

Chris is a native of Southeast Georgia. He has lived in Camden since 2005 with his wife, two sons, and two labs! Community service has always been an important part of his life. He has spent over 20 years in the fire service and is heavily involved in the local business community. Chris is a past Chairman of the Board for the Elizabeth City Area Chamber of Commerce and current member and past Chairman of the Camden County Economic Development Commission. He is also involved with several charitable and fraternal organizations in the area.

Chris and his wife opened a business in Elizabeth City and once it was successfully up and running, he decided to follow her into another joint venture…. Real Estate! Chris bought his first investment property at 19 and has had the bug ever since. He became a sales agent in Virginia and a broker with the company in 2020. He enjoys working with first time buyers and guiding them through the exciting experiences involved in purchasing their first home. Chris also has a strong background in commercial leasing and sales. He loves working with investors and commercial buyers to help them grow their portfolio and bring new businesses to the area. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and attending his sons’ sporting events.
