Chris Reckart

My name is Chris Reckart. I am a REALTOR with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. I work in all of the Midlands (central SC), but, I love to focus my efforts on Lexington, Irmo, Columbia, West Columbia, Chapin, Lake Murray, Harbison area, and Blythewood.

I am originally from Lakeland, Fl. I moved to South Carolina to attend college at The University of South Carolina - Aiken. There I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management. I was extremely involved on campus and quickly became an active student leader. My senior year I received the highest award for leadership on campus as well as finished my college career graduating Cum Laude.

Currently, selling real estate is my life! I love it and I am one of only a handful of agents that actually treat it like a full time career. That's because that is exactly what it is for me - a career. It's how I "put food on the table" and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Outside the topic of real estate, my personal relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the most important thing in my life. In my spare time I try to stay as active as possible. My personal health and fitness is very high priority. So, I do my best to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle including working out, running, hiking, kayaking, and just about anything else that involves being in the great outdoors! I also sit on the Board of Directors for Daybreak Ministries and the Board of Directors for the Carolina Carillon. At my church, First Baptist Church of Lexington, I am the head of a ministry called Barn Builders as well as work with the youth.

I pride myself on treating my clients as people instead of just a potential paycheck. I take joy in helping my clients achieve their real estate goals. Buying and/or selling a home is a huge decision with a lot of financial risk involved. It's not something that should be done alone.
