When it comes to her beloved Buncombe County, North Carolina, Asheville broker associate Christine Ballard-Capps believes that “When you love these mountains, and my hometown, as much as I do, helping families call them home is not a job. It’s a gift.”

For Christine, the most rewarding part of being a REALTOR® has been helping friends — some of whom begin as clients — and neighbors find the next place to call home. Since beginning her real estate career in 2001, Christine has learned all aspects of the business, from administrative assistant to office manager to broker associate, hoping the varied knowledge will further help her provide a service that enhances a lifestyle.

She will gladly confess that her favorite time of year in the mountains of Asheville is the autumn, as it allows for sweatshirts on crisp, cool nights, flip-flops on warm fall days, and October baseball. (Christine can often be found watching her favorite team: The 2016 World Series winners, the Chicago Cubs.) She believes nothing rivals the most spectacular views offered by the Blue Ridge Mountains as the leaves change colors before the winter comes.

The mother of two “awesome” children, Carlie and Levi, Christine is married to her husband and best friend, Wally, who owns Asheville's Hi-Tech Integrated Systems. Together, they enjoy traveling and the outdoors, whether it is exploring new places, riding horses, hunting, or simply spending time as a family.
