About Christine

Chris Thayer been a real estate broker for over 25 years. In 2001 she joined with Deb Huffer and Gilda Hickman in founding Real Estate Network, which quickly became the leading agency in the area. She has earned the GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation, along with the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource). She cannot imagine being in any other field that she would enjoy as much as real estate, and she encourages her kids to find a career they have a passion for, and with a lot of hard work success will follow!

Chris grew up in nearby Remington, IN, and graduated from Purdue University. She worked in her family's grocery business prior to her career in real estate. She is married to Jim Thayer, a White County native, and they love living on Lake Freeman. They have two children, both Twin Lakes High School graduates. Jared is now a Purdue Boilermaker, and Amanda is an Indiana University Hoosier. In her spare time Chris loves being with her family, enjoys spending time on the lake, loves to snow ski, is a Purdue tailgater, and she was an avid Twin Lakes sports parent for years.
