I've called the Lower Florida Keys home for more than 30 years, and my connection to this community runs deep. Growing up here gave me a firsthand appreciation for the unique lifestyle, culture, and character that make the Keys unlike anywhere else in the world.
My first job was at the original Square Grouper Bar & Grill in Cudjoe Key. From there, adventure led me into treasure diving with a local salvage company, where I worked on historic shipwreck sites ranging from the Santa Margarita near Marquesa Key to the legendary San José off the coast of Central America. While treasure hunting didn't change my fortunes, it taught me valuable lessons about persistence, problem-solving, and the rewards that come from dedication and hard work.
Over the years, I've worn many hats in the Keys—commercial fisherman, construction worker, bartender, and more. Each experience gave me a deeper understanding of the people, properties, and industries that shape our island communities. Those experiences also reinforced something I've always believed: every challenge has a solution if you're willing to put in the effort to find it.
That mindset is what ultimately drew me to real estate. I enjoy helping people navigate complex situations, solve problems, and achieve their goals. Real estate in the Florida Keys is anything but cookie-cutter. With limited inventory, unique properties, and buyers and sellers who each have their own vision, every transaction requires creativity, focus, and a personalized approach.
