About Claire

After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Urban Sociology and City Planning, Claire entered real estate as a temporary job until she decided what she really wanted to do. Over forty years later as a full-time agent, she can honestly say she loves her job now as much as she did when she started.

Growing up in Washington, DC, living in Bethesda, Md., and now Mclean, Virginia has given Claire the unique advantage of knowing all three jurisdictions and she has maintained real estate licenses in all three areas. She was also fortunate that her husband decided she was having too much fun in her job, so he decided to quit his, and started a remodeling business that then developed into a custom home builder. Being involved with his business on the side taught her a lot about site development, architectural styles, and plans, remodeling options, and building new homes which expanded her knowledge of real estate in ways that have become so valuable to her clients.

Claire’s goal has always been to deliver quality service to her clients. As a result, over 92% of her business is repeated business or referrals from past clients. While many agents have turned to large-scale teams, she has managed to maintain a level of performance with the help of her sister, who is also her assistant, that allows her to provide for her family while at the same time offer one on one service to each client.
