About Cody C

Cody founded Scout South Properties in January of 2019, however her love for construction and real estate was ingrained long before this exciting new venture began. Growing up, she tagged along with her dad, a custom home builder, from projects seated in the mountains of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to the beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast, gathering knowledge and experience along the way. From 2004-2009, Cody attended Auburn University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Design-Build. After graduation, she moved back to Baldwin County and worked for seven years marketing an industrial corporation. A resident of Baldwin County since 1991, she chose to pursue her passion for helping others through real estate when she first became licensed in 2015. Whether it’s strapping on her boots and tromping across a 40-acre tract or jumping aboard to see the water view, utilizing her education, expertise and work ethic to assist her clients in taking their next step in life is truly where her heart is and why she started Scout South. Cody is a member of the Board of Directors for the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation which works to train elementary to high school teachers and students on the mental health concerns facing our youth today.
