About Cody

Cody is a second generation Real Estate Broker and lifetime Hill Country resident. His childhood consisted of cutting four wheeler trails through the ranches of Hunt TX, playing baseball or on the back of a horse at a Polocrosse tournament or team roping. After graduating from Ingram Tom Moore High School, he attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management in 2009. He returned home and continued working for the family tile business before getting his real estate license in 2012.

Over the next 8 years, Cody worked with Key Hill Country Real Estate selling Farm and Ranch, Live water and Homes with Acreage across the Hill Country. As time progressed, he knew he wanted to further his career and obtained his Broker’s license in 2020. After years of gathering valuable insight from his Broker (Becky Key) and other local relationships, Cody and his wife Morgan acquired KeyHCRE and opened under the new name Key and Key Realty in January 2021.

Locally, Cody has invested many hours with the Kerrville Board of Realtors serving on the Board of Director’s, PR & TREPAC committee’s and was the President of the Board in 2022. He is also a graduate of the Texas Realtors Leadership Program and a former member of the Heart of The Hills golf committee.
