Always striving to bring her clients' real estate goals to fruition, Colleen’s commitment to her clients is unmatched.
With a strong background in Cultural Resource Management, historic land use, land management, and archaeology, Colleen offers a unique depth of knowledge in understanding Maui’s real estate. Additionally, she has been involved in property management, overseeing both long and short-term rentals since 2013. Colleen has a profound interest in all things historic: culture, arts, traditions, lands, and historic homes.
Colleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Montana State University-Billings. Her first job on Maui was with an archaeological firm contracted for the Kaho’olawe Island UXO Clean Up project. This work became a personally fulfilling 15-year career.
"For me, working in Maui’s real estate market is more than buying and selling homes. There are stories behind the homes, embedded in their history and the surrounding landscape. Stories that span both generations and geologic time. Whether a place boasts monumental history, has complex place names, or is as simple (or diverse) as the features of its landscape, all places have their own uniqueness, which imbues them with intrinsic value. Knowing these stories and histories and understanding the physical landscape adds to one’s sense of place."
Colleen enjoys a life full of travel adventures, backpacking, camping, hiking, surfing, and snowboarding, mixed in with some shopping and good food. She lives in Kula with her family and three pets.
