About Constantin
Constantin Gorges joined Compass in the summer of 2015 as a Founding Agent. His wife and Constantin are full-time residents of Miami Beach's "South of Fifth" area and appreciate the advantages the Miami lifestyle has to offer: glorious year-round sunshine, incredible beaches, outstanding restaurants, first-class hotels, world-class shopping, yachting, golfing, and tennis at La Gorce Country Club: simply everything that makes life particularly worth living.
Initially, from Germany, he moved to New York City in 1985 and studied Interior Design at Parsons School of Design and F.I.T. successfully earning his degree. Afterward, he worked for some of the best interior design firms in New York (Parish Hadley, Noel Jeffrey, and Peter Marino) founding his own Interior Design Firm in 1997.
With combined professional experience of over 30 years in Interior Design and Real Estate Sales judging the spatial potential, the value of quality of the existing build-out, and overall programmatic suitability of how a property may function for the individual, couple, or family is effortless for him.
When the client likes a potential property for purchase, which however is not perfect in its current configuration, he is happy to investigate potential changes to the property and to explore possibilities and options of how a property may be altered going forward, and how much construction work it entails to do so. This enables the client to make a more informed decision during the purchasing process if any given property is really the right fit for them.
When representing the buyer in the purchase of a property he prepares data-driven comparative market analysis, enabling the buyer to make educated decisions regarding the values of properties in the purchasing process. At a client's request, he can make introductions to Lawyers, Accountants to advise on Fl State Taxes, Mortgage Bankers and Property Management Companies.
When representing the seller, he prepares customized sales and marketing and personally shows his listings. This gives him the opportunity to give professional recommendations to potential buyers, as to how simple modifications may make the property more suitable for buyers ultimately resulting in quicker sales.
