About Cory
Originally from the Philippines, Cory has been living in the Washington Metropolitan area for over 30 years. She has an MBA (George Washington University) and a Master of Science in Taxation (American University). After serving as a technical expert for over 20 years at corporations and Big 4 accounting firms, Cory moved to a business development role, becoming a top sales executive. In 2014, after a short respite from the corporate train, Cory found a new mission in real estate advisory. Today, she is living her best life, loving, and creating new relationships, and giving her best client service.
Cory's unique academic and professional experience, iron-clad negotiation skills, resolve and perseverance to deliver the best value to her clients - are the reasons sellers and buyers choose her. Her clients say, “Cory demonstrates the Gold Standard and is the best part of the transaction.” Licensed in Virginia, DC and Maryland, Cory is able to service her clients across these jurisdictions.
She was featured in the Washingtonian Magazine in July 2022 for “2022 Best of Washingtonian Top Producer” award and in February 2019 for representing the #3 of the 10 Most Expensive Homes Sold in Washington and the #2 most expensive home sold in Fairfax, Clifton, and Fairfax Station VA’s history.
Cory and her husband Joe - who spent 35 years at the World Bank Treasury serving numerous developing countries, maintain residences in Washington, D.C., Clifton, VA and Westport Island, Maine - where their family gather to hike, kayak, nature walk, go fishing and feast on lobsters.
They have two daughters, Charisse and Christianne, who attended the National Cathedral School in DC and subsequently matriculated at Colby College and University of Pennsylvania - for which Christianne still coxes the Penn Women's Alumni Varsity rowing team. Charisse works at Block, Inc., formerly Square, Inc., a financial service, and digital payments company and Christianne is at Bumble, a social network that allows building empowered connections. Their household also includes 4 Chihuahuas – Milo, Otis, Walter, and Claudia.
Cory is a member of the Board of Directors of The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity organization with a mission to feed the working poor of Washington, D.C. She is also an avid supporter of St Paul Parish, Philippines, focusing her resources on alleviating hunger among the poor.
