About Curt

Curt Guss grew up on a small farm just 4 miles from Willow City, ND with his brother and 2 sisters. He attended Willow City Public School and helped out on his parents’ family farm. Curt's parents family farm was a grain farm and he started driving combine at the mature age of 10 years old.... he was beyond excited on his first experience driving the combine himself and thought it was like sitting in a big video game! After high school, Curt farmed with his parents and also attended Bismarck State College and earned a Bachelor Degree in Farm & Ranch Management. After college, he returned home to farm with his parents for a few years but the farm didn't have enough acres to support 2 families, so he ventured into becoming a real estate agent. He became a licensed real estate agent in the State of North Dakota in March of 2005 and in December of 2013, Curt and 3 other partners opened Elite Real Estate and currently have offices in Minot and Bismarck.

Curt lives in Minot with his 2 sons and they enjoy their summer time getaways to the beautiful Lake Metigoshe. Curt's hobbies are whatever his sons like to do and he tries to maintain a high level of energy by doing weekly Kickboxing workouts so he can keep up with his sons.
