Cynthia Baer

Cynthia’s client list is diverse and includes move-up first-time and luxury buyers and sellers. She loves being a part of the excitement of a family’s first major investment but also thrives on helping families work through the complicated timing involved when they have outgrown their current home and are looking for a larger one. Seeing herself as a true consultant, Baer utilizes her academic training to understand her client’s needs and priorities. Listening
more than talking allows her to build a strategy that produces optimal results within a strict timeframe while keeping in mind her client’s goals throughout the often murky process.

An expert in Intown Atlanta’s east side, Baer does not try to be all things to all people. Her success lies in her focus on specific neighborhoods and her knowledge of how to connect buyers with those communities. For example, with one child currently in elementary school and three high school graduates, she brings to the table a valuable perspective on neighborhood schools. “I love creating community,” Baer says. “A house is nothing more than boards and nails, but it opens the door to…your life. I enjoy helping people find theirs and seeing them thrive.”

In her free time, Baer is a philanthropist who donates her time to her local neighborhood association and groups such as Intown Collaborative Ministries. Baer also loves developing and participating in events and festivals for neighborhood schools and organizations. She has served for four years on Mary Lin Elementary local council, two preschool boards, and as vice president of fundraising for Lake Claire Neighbors. She also sits on her church council. Baer says that she considers helping her community a top priority.
