AMAZING!! From start to finish, the experience I had working with Ms. Cynthia Bailey was exceptional. She displayed true integrity throughout the process, and she was definitely a diplomatic, yet fierce advocate for me. I am so grateful to have had Ms. Bailey to shepherd me through the complicated process of selling a house. When I began the process to sell a house in VA, I had two nightmare realtors: the first realtor literally ignored my request to correct description errors telling me it wasn’t significant to mention two primary bedrooms rather than just one, and the second realtor literally shared my personal information with a buyer’s agent thereby gutting my negotiating power. After these two horrifying experiences, I was convinced there weren’t any realtors with genuine integrity. And then–like magic–I found Ms. Cynthia Bailey; she displayed INTEGRITY in everything she did. She was exactly what I needed. She guided me every step of the way; she put my interests first, she was my champion, she listened carefully, and offered intelligent, honest advice. She saved me thousands of dollars when she found me a chimney contractor who was experienced, certified, AND repaired my chimney at half the price of the chimney company I found. She recommended I consider changing a room from a “wood stove” room to a sunroom because it would create more options for buyers–and she was RIGHT! And, when I was stressed out getting ready for the photographer, Ms. Bailey reassured me it would be okay, and then she personally installed more than 20 switch plates!! If not for her, I would not have made it through that day without bursting in tears. I felt so overwhelmed. She was so calm! So focused. When it came time for showings, Ms. Bailey ensured that I had minimal stress. She understood that during showings, I needed to walk my dog in the backyard so potential buyers could walk through the house. To minimize the inconvenience to me (and my dog) Ms. Bailey recommended we limit showings to 15 minutes! I had no idea we could do that. My previous realtor led me to believe we needed to let potential buyers take as long as they wanted during showings; with that realtor, showings were typically an hour long, and twice because of back-to-back showings, my dog and I were stuck in the backyard for 3 hours (no exaggeration)! Through the entire process, Ms. Bailey was my advocate. Because of Ms. Bailey, I had two offers at the end of the first day of showings–and soon after, we had a contract. I was over the moon! I can never thank her enough. I will always be so grateful for her!
