From the 1st day, Ryan was outstanding. He showed us about 15 houses, some more than once. He always was knowledgeable about the home, the value, the area, and the market. The one thing that Ryan did that made him stand out in showing us homes, was listen to our needs and our wants. He always let us look at the house before making his observations or offering his opinion. It was the perfect balance that allowed us to figure out how the house would fit our family and also have his professional input. Once we found the perfect home, he guided us through the offer and counter, was present for inspections, and helped us stay on track when the deal almost fell apart due to a very bad lender we chose. There aren't really enough ways to praise Ryan for everything he did!!

I started shopping for my first home in January of 2014. I contacted Ryan with the Gerard Realty Group among with several other agents from different agencies. I told all of them I was picky and was looking for something specific and that I would take a lot of research and seeing a lot of houses but once I found the one I would close the deal within a couple of days. After only 3-4 months all agents besides Ryan Zimmer stopped emailing me, calling me, following up, sending me houses to look at, etc. Ryan in the other hand would follow up with me on a monthly basis with a phone call or two, send me daily emails to update me with houses that matched my likings, and update me with price changes. Ryan Zimmer was there for me every step of the way for a year and half. In May 2015 I finally found the house I wanted. Within 5 days Ryan Zimmer helped me close on the perfect home!! I couldn't be happier with him and his firm. They made this a wonderful experience. Despite many changes over the next two years in our plans to relocate back to our native St. Louis, Ryan was considerate and attentive. He was never aggressive, but certainly persistent, in helping stay on top of the market IN our price range. When we finally started our real search, he unfortunately was out of town when we arrived in St. Louis. NO PROBLEM, he happily sent Alfonso to help us! Damian met us at closing along with their finance referral, Mike. Documents were signed, keys delivered, easy! Even after closing, Ryan checked in a few times and offered more requests from us for a floor finisher, handyman and contractor. Yes, we did want to make some updates:). However, we have a functioning home, for now, in a fabulous neighborhood and at a very good price! I forgot to mention...almost ALL larger repairs were negotiated by Ryan and that really helped expedite our move-in date and obviously the price.
