About Dan

As a native of San Francisco, Daniel Marshall possesses a rather different perspective of his city and has seen it go through a metamorphosis. He attended high school and college, became an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts here in San Francisco and with the exception of a few years, lived his entire life in San Francisco Bay Area and currently in Petaluma.

Dan’s professional life is varied and has contributed to his success in real estate. It consists of several years in retail, restaurant ownership and also co-owning a real estate company -- all within his beautiful city.

As a real estate investor of nearly thirty years, Dan has hands-on experience from both sides of the "real estate table." He has found that patience, honesty, professionalism and the ability to know when to shut-up and listen has paid off in many ways. As an experienced negotiator in his career, he has found that the art of listening is one that is developed through experience and is in short supply in this business.

He has recently earned the Corporate Mobility Specialist certification. This is a professional designation awarded through GMAC Real Estate and GMAC Global Relocation Services. This ongoing educational course has added to his expertise and has given him the tools to offer comprehensive and complete assistance to his clients relocating from or moving to the San Francisco Bay Area.
