About Dan

From an early age, I was immersed in the world of Real Estate and Construction/Homebuilding, thanks to my grandfather and father, who introduced me into the business. Their guidance shaped my understanding of the industry and instilled in me a deep appreciation for hard work, integrity, and service.

After earning my Business degree from the University of Connecticut in 2007, I returned to Windsor Locks to begin my professional journey, joining Merrigan & LeFebvre Realty as the third generation in the family business. My entry into the industry coincided with one of the most challenging economic downturns in decades, as the real estate market entered one of its longest and most difficult recessions. It was a time when many agents were leaving the field, but it was also a time of invaluable lessons.

During these challenging years, I learned firsthand the importance of being transparent and accountable to clients. I realized that there is no substitute for hard work and perseverance. My father, who brings over 45 years of experience to the table, has been an unwavering mentor throughout my career. His guidance has been instrumental in helping me navigate both the traditional and modern aspects of the real estate industry.

With 18 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working in every aspect of real estate—from representing buyers, sellers, and investors to working with banks in residential, commercial, large industrial, and land transactions. I hold a Real Estate Broker license and take great pride in providing clients with a high level of professional service, always focused on their best interests, without relying on high-pressure sales tactics.

Outside of my career, I live in Windsor Locks with my son, Austin. I enjoy a variety of activities, including golf, travel, skiing, and scuba diving, as well as spending time outdoors and with family and friends. I am also committed to my community, serving on the Windsor Locks Zoning Board of Appeals and as a Board Member for the Bradley Development League, where I represent the Town of Windsor Locks.
