Dan is people-oriented, motivated, intelligent, and gets the job done right the first time. He enjoys the satisfaction that comes with matching people to their new homes, and particularly in the Chic's Beach and Great Neck corridor (Cox High School) areas.
He has been a Realtor since 2013, currently with EXP Realty; previously with Howard Hanna and Long and Foster Realty. Prior to that, he was a Captain, Medical Service Corps, United States Navy, where he worked since receiving his commission in 1983. He served tours at the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, CA; the USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63); the Naval Hospital, Long Beach, CA; a regional Readiness Command, Great Lakes, IL; and Field Medical Service School, Camp Pendleton, CA, and was selected to attend San Diego State University for full time duty under instruction in September 1994. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Education Administration in December 1995. His follow-on tour was at the Naval Leader Training Unit, Coronado, CA where he served as a Leadership Instructor and Director of Training. He began a Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at the University of San Diego in June 1998, completing a third of the program before being transferred to the Naval School of Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD in August 1999 to serve as the Director, Executive Management Education. In September 2001 he transferred to the Naval School of Health Sciences, Portsmouth, VA as the Executive Officer. In 2004, he transferred to the Center for Naval Leadership Learning Site Little Creek, VA as Training Officer and eventually the Officer-in-Charge. He was awarded an MBA from Strayer University in 2010.
