A native to the Boston area, Dana was raised in historic Newburyport, MA and has been a resident in the South End of Boston for over 30 years. After graduating from St. Anselm College, Dana worked in sales/systems management for NYNEX (Verizon) and then helped found a successful computer office supplies company in 1989 as owner/vice president of operations/finance. Dana began his career in real estate investment in 1986 on a part time basis and in 1996 sold his company to a national firm to devote all his energies towards investment, development, and brokerage.
