I needed to sell my condo after only 2 years of ownership. My original realtor advised me that I would never sell at the price I paid (which they allowed me to offer at!) and I would have to sell under value or rent. Since neither of those were options, I needed a new realtor. I spoke with several, and Dan clinched the deal immediately. He came prepared with a detailed market analysis, comps in my area, and a profile of the typical homeowner in the building. We discuss marketing, realistic purchase prices, and the posting for the condo. He was so professional and thorough. I was under contract (for a fair price, not a loss!) within 6 days. Throughout the process of the sale, he and his team were communicative and prompt. He also handled selling my parent's house-after a year on the market, his listing got it sold in 2! Highly recommended, would not hesitate to use Dan and his team again.

As always Dan Firks and his team came to my rescue. I had a leak in the downspout on my gutter. I searched The internet looking for someone to do a quick repair . I didn’t need a full gutter replacement . I just needed ( a guy ) . I called Dan and asked for a recommendation. Kathie got back to me right away with a guy (Tom) . I called and he was able to come out the very next day and do the repair. Quick, fast, professional. I purchased with Dan Firks over 5 years ago . I was referred to Dan Firks by my in-laws who already had all great things to say about him.
Buying a home is very time consuming and stressful. As a first time homebuyer, Dan was there with my husband and I every step of the way to answer questions, and let me know what to expect next. I feel I was kept informed about every piece of the home buying process, which I greatly appreciated. He pointed out things we never thought to look for in a home. I feel like there couldn't be anyone more perfect to help us through this whole deal. Response time from him and his team is fairly quick! I have already started to send his name to friends looking to buy in the next year, and I intend on doing business with him again in the coming years!

This was my first independent purchase and the process was overwhelming at first but Dan walked me through the process every step of the way. What I appreciated most about working with Dan was the notebook he provided me with all the reference materials I needed to advance the process. (i.e. list of inspectors and their phone numbers, list of financial personnel to aid in the mortgage process, list of lawyers and their contact numbers). This is the second transaction for which I've worked with Dan. Dan is WAY more than a realtor...he's a partner in the process. His knowledge of Naperville and the surrounding area is outstanding and he actually listens! Even more importantly, Dan goes above and beyond the realtor/client relationship. My wife and I found found Dan, or rather, he found us, when another realtor dragged his feet in getting us into a property. It turned out having Dan as our realtor paid off big. Dan helped us buy our first home, and made the process as easy as possible. He was very patient with us, looking at over 130 properties, many of which he found for us. Dan did a great job of teaching us what to look for while looking at properties, and made sure we understood what each property would need in terms of remodeling or basic upgrading. Dan also made sure we were buying in the best area for us. We looked at some homes in areas with a somewhat poor reputation, and Dan steered us more toward nicer, newer, SAFER areas, and found us the perfect house in a great neighborhood. I've known Dan for a year and a half. I really didn't hve a lot of expectations when I met Dan, but he got my property rented in less than a month. He did a great job sceeening applicants, and I have never missed a month's rent. Dan always put my interests first. I can say is if you are considering using Dan's services, do it. You won't meet a more honest and direct person to deal with. He has great knowledge of the marketplace. Bottom line is I would use his services again if the opportunity ever came up.
