Daniel Jacob

Daniel T. Jacob is Managing Director in Savills Detroit office. He possesses more than 30 years in marketing and business development experience and has a deep understanding of market trends and research to support well-informed real estate decisions.

Daniel has extensive experience in all disciplines of real estate. He has successfully completed several real estate developments, specializing in mixed use, urban redevelopment, neighborhood, lifestyle, big box shopping centers, and free-standing retail. Daniel has successfully completed several tenant rep-assignments with such clients as Starbucks, Panera Bread, Chuck E. Cheese and Fidelity Investments. He also led the disposition of former K-Mart properties and the Art Van Furniture chain.

Prior to joining Savills, he was instrumental in creating a retail department for some of Detroit’s largest real estate firms such as Grubb & Ellis, Signature & Associates, Oncor, and Cushman & Wakefield.

Daniel has worked on re-developing and retenanting several regional malls. He has worked closely with planners and architects. He has been invited to participate in charrettes with Andres Duany & the Gibbs Planning Group.

Daniel has spent the last seven years diversifying into office, industrial investments sales and leasing.
