Daniel Wolford is an excellent realtor and an even better human being. He helped my family find our dream home -- in the Santa Cruz County housing market that puts you into legend status. And along the way he became much more of a friend than an agent. He treated us so well, he listened to us, he sympathized with us, he checked in often, he made terrific suggestions, and he's funny and approachable even if he's at least a foot taller than you. I found myself excited at each viewing he would arrange as it was a chance to spend some time with the big guy and talk about whatever the heck was on our minds -- in addition to the housing search, of course. This was my family's first time buying a home, but I'd imagine you want to find someone with the qualities and personality of Daniel to help you make one of the biggest decisions of your life.

We were first-time homebuyers and Daniel helped us purchase our home in Santa Cruz. He did a great job providing an overview of the process and helping us complete each step as it came up. We bought during a really hot time in the market (it was the right time for us) so the entire process was extremely fast and stressful. Fortunately, Daniel was incredibly responsive no matter how we contacted him, and often had already started on whatever task we were calling about. He knows the local market very well and strikes a good balance of laying it all out on the table without being mean or condescending to people like us who are new to real estate. We also appreciated that he would give advice but never force us into any particular decision. I felt he was objective but always there if we had questions or wanted advice. He also helped us out of some sticky spots with our appraisal, such as meeting the appraiser on a holiday weekend to meet our closing deadline.

For most of our home search, we were looking in the Felton area, or at town-homes in Santa Cruz (we wanted to be in-town if possible). Long story short, we ended up in a single family home in Santa Cruz, and I attribute that largely to Daniel finding the right house at the right time. He helped us put forward competitive offers, even among all the crazy all-cash offers you hear about, and in the end we are very happy.

I would absolutely recommend Daniel to anyone looking to buy a house!

Daniel is that rare agent who always puts the interest of his clients first. He has a desirable combination of interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organization. He is a logistics wizard who has built strong connections and loyalty amongst his working network allowing for a consistently efficient home buying/selling process. All the while, being completely selfless in his motives. He knows how to present a home to maximize its potential for the seller and has an excellent feel for the market and how to win for his buyers. Would recommend 10/10!

Daniel and Scarlett Wolford sold our home in the Seascape area last month within a very tight timeline and a with a high price per square foot. We were very pleased with how they kept us informed every step of the way; they were always available by text and phone. They were able to set up competent and professional referrals as needed for all the details that pop up with staging and selling in Santa Cruz County. Daniel and Scarlett anticipated what buyers would want for a fast sale and stepped up to get us over those hurdles. Every time something popped up they had a resource and a solution. We would not have been able to manage these details while planning a move and finishing up a purchase out-of-state. They became our extra set of very competent hands! It's easy to see that Daniel and Scarlett have learned to manage a sale from the very best in real estate, her parents. As the next generation, they are superbly carrying on the traditions established by Brezsny Realty. Overall, they turned what might have been a most trying experience into a pleasure!
