The Air Force brought my family to the Sumter area in 2010, and it didn't take long for us to fall in love with our new home. The friendly people, beautiful year-round weather, and convenient location made Sumter the perfect place to put down roots. Born and raised in Germany, I spent my childhood exploring the countryside, charming villages, and historic cities around me. Living just a few kilometers from Germany's oldest city sparked my lifelong fascination with history, architecture, and the stories behind the buildings that have stood for centuries. If those cobblestone streets and castles could talk, imagine the tales they would tell.
In 2010, the Air Force brought us to the United States and eventually to Sumter, where I have built a life and career while raising my two beautiful family. They keep me busy and active, and they are my daily inspiration. When I'm not attending their activities, you'll likely find me exploring local history, visiting historic sites, or working on a creative project at home.
