Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Darlene Cope and I am very excited to be able to help you with your real estate needs here in the beautiful area of Western NC. With over three decades of experience serving people and helping them look and feel their best, I bring that same passion for service and attention to detail into every real estate transaction. Before returning to real estate full-time, I have spent the last 33 years as a licensed cosmetologist — including 17 years as an instructor and director of a local community college’s cosmetology program — guiding students and clients alike through major life changes and personal transformations.
A proud North Carolina native, I’ve lived and worked in the beautiful western NC area since I was three years old. Real estate has always been part of my life — my mother owned her own real estate business and with my father, our family fine dining restaurant where I learned the importance of hard work, communication, and genuine hospitality. For over 26 years, I’ve been involved in real estate — working alongside my mother and my husband, who is now a licensed general contractor with more than 20 years of building experience. Together, we’ve helped clients buy, sell, and even build their dream homes from the ground up.
Whether I’m assisting first-time buyers, helping families upsize or downsize, or working with investors, my goal is to make every step of the process smooth, informed, and enjoyable.
