About The Cordeiro Family Legacy in Hawaii
Rooted in Excellence, Dedicated to Service
From sports and journalism to ministry, photography, and community leadership, the Cordeiro family has shaped Hawaii’s history with exceptional achievements. Their legacy continues to inspire generations across the islands:
Charles “Spike” Cordeiro (David’s Great Uncle) – A Roosevelt High standout, All-American at St. Mary’s College, and community leader who dedicated his life to mentoring Hawaii’s young athletes.
Jerome Cordeiro (David’s Dad) – A Kamehameha Schools graduate and state track champion whose record-breaking performances solidified his place in Hawaii’s track and field history during the 1960s.
Lyle Galdeira (formerly Cordeiro) (David’s Cousin) – A beloved journalist who became a household name through segments like “Cheap Eats” and “Does It Work?”, bringing warmth and authenticity to Hawaii’s television screens.
Chevan Cordeiro (David’s Cousin) – A rising football star from Saint Louis School and the University of Hawaii, who has carried Hawaii’s pride to national football stages as a dual-threat quarterback.
Pastor Wayne Cordeiro (David’s Uncle) – Founder of New Hope Christian Fellowship, a global leader in church planting and mentorship, grounded in the values of faith and service to Hawaii’s communities.
Frank Cordeiro (David’s Grandfather) – A trailblazing photographer who captured history’s most defining moments, including iconic images of the Pearl Harbor attack, preserving Hawaii’s legacy for the world.
David Cordeiro: Continuing the Legacy
As the next chapter of this extraordinary family, David Cordeiro carries forward the Cordeiro tradition of service, dedication, and community impact.
David’s journey reflects a lifetime of discipline, perseverance, and heart—values shaped by his success as a national karate champion, black belt in traditional karate, and his extensive background in wrestling, jujitsu, judo, and kickboxing. These experiences instilled focus, precision, and a tireless work ethic that now define his approach to real estate.
With over 19 years of experience in Christian ministry, David has hosted Christian radio and TV broadcasts, served as a guest speaker, and led as the Executive Director of the Bible Institute of Hawaii. Today, his heart for service continues as he actively supports Christian nonprofits and organizations such as Ho?ola Na Pua, a center dedicated to healing and restoring hope for traumatized youth.
Since becoming a licensed real estate agent in 2020, David has sold over 50 homes and buildings in Hawaii—from small condos to luxury homes, apartment and commercial buildings—helping families and businesses achieve their dreams of homeownership and guiding investors toward their next success. David treats every transaction with the same focus and care as his own, collaborating closely with his clients to ensure their vision is realized.
A portion of every real estate commission David earns goes directly back into the community, helping support the people and causes that make Hawaii special. When you partner with David, you’re not just achieving your real estate goals—you’re investing in Hawaii’s future.
David lives in Hawaii Kai with his wife, Rachel, of 18 years, and their three children. Together, they enjoy beach trips, family hikes, and embracing all the beauty that island life has to offer.
