David was born in Norfolk, VA and moved to Lake Wales, FL as an infant. Attending All Saints Academy in Winter Haven, David quickly distinguished himself as a standout athlete, participating in three sports while excelling academically.
In pursuit of higher education, David ventured to Sewanee: The University of the South, where he continued to pursue his passion for athletics, this time on the football field. Alongside his athletic endeavors, he delved into the realm of Economics, earning his degree in 2010.
Following his collegiate journey, David embarked on a career in Financial Planning and Wealth Management with Merrill Lynch. Over the span of eight years, he honed his expertise in navigating the intricate landscape of financial markets and investments, establishing himself as a trusted advisor to his clients.
In a bold career transition, David pivoted towards real estate, joining forces with a local family-owned company. Over the course of three years, he immersed himself in every aspect of the industry, leveraging his prior experience to drive remarkable success in sales and property management. With an innate knack for analysis and a commitment to excellence, David played a pivotal role in scaling the company's operations, overseeing the management of over 250 properties and spearheading numerous renovation projects.
Driven by a shared vision and a lifelong friendship, David teamed up with his close friend Drew Farrar to co-found Scout Property Management as a broker owner. Armed with a steadfast commitment to service and an unwavering dedication to integrity, David's leadership has been instrumental in the growth and success of both Scout Property Management and 1513 Realty. Whether it's guiding clients through the complexities of real estate transactions or assisting them in building lucrative investment portfolios, David's unwavering focus remains on ensuring the financial success and satisfaction of those he serves.
