He moved to the area with three generations of his family to begin a new adventure in the beautiful mountain community. Since his arrival, Dave has been actively involved in the development of Tellico Plains by purchasing and restoring old buildings. He has strived to maintain a balance between preserving the beauty of the rural area and planning for sensible growth, while also keeping Tellico Plains a home for all and upholding its core values of family and serenity.

Dave is an attentive listener who understands that locals and newcomers alike want Tellico Plains to remain a place where everyone is treated like family regardless of whether they are related or not. As a real estate agent, he is aware of how important it is to help buyers and sellers conduct honest transactions. Dave also knows how to use construction, development, land use, bulldozers, and track-hoes to create beauty in harmony with the environment while listening to what his clients' dreams are.

Dave and his wife Sandy live close to their family on a small farm that resembles a natural park. Before settling in Tellico Plains, they lived in large cities such as Chicago, Columbus, Miami, and Orlando where they were focused on climbing the corporate ladder and making money. They believe that finding Tellico Plains was truly meant to be and consider it a miracle that they are here.
