Five stars but would be 10 if I could! David was amazing! He took on the sale of my home after I had to leave/move unexpectedly for a new position. I had to leave in a rush so I was not able properly move everything, clean, or do repairs. David was willing to work with me remotely to quickly get the house in show ready condition using his extensive list of contacts and connections. He took care of every detail! The house was only listed for 2 days with favorable interest and we received our best offer in those 2 days for over the amount we listed. On top of that, he found a cash offer which was able to move quickly through escrow. His confidence and knowledge showed through every interaction and communication. He truly was a professional in every respect. I highly recommend using David for you home buying/selling needs. It was a pleasure to work with him!

If you’re looking to buy or sell a home, Dave is your guy. At our very first meeting, Dave set up an interactive website with filters to show houses that are within our budget, in the areas of the city we wanted to live, and with all the amenities and features we wanted to include or exclude. The website was so critically helpful in our selection process to be able to find houses that both my husband and I loved. My house sold for more money than I was asking for, after a short bidding competition. The home I purchased was less than the asking price, with additional repairs included. What more can you ask for?

These were both rather complicated transactions. Mr. Goodman is a consumate professional with excellent experience, advice, industry connections and communication skills. David is an excellent realtor and I am very happy to have worked with him on the sale of our home. I know it is a seller’s market, and almost everyone is able to get higher than the list price, but David proved his value both in the marketing and sale, and (very importantly) during the escrow period.
David’s information gathering and marketing process is first-rate. He brought us extensive information and personal knowledge of the market, informing our decision to pick an appealing list price and generate massive buyer interest. We expected to exceed the list price, but we were amazed to exceed it by over $300k!
I have bought and sold a few times now, and the escrow period is most critical time to have a solid realtor, in my opinion. As inspections came through and disclosures were finalized, David helped us to navigate and close escrow, providing guidance and assurance when it felt like everything might fall apart at any moment.
I would strongly encourage anyone selling (or buying) in Southern California to work with David Goodman. He is easily the best realtor I have worked with yet!

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with David. This was my first experience selling a home and I was intimidated by the process. As a busy professional I needed someone that could take the reins. David is knowledgeable, professional, timely, trusting, and most importantly straight forward. House went on the market on a Wednesday, by Thursday we had 6 showings scheduled, and had offers by Friday. He was detailed and strategic with helping me pick through the many offers and explained the risks and benefits of each. The most stressful part (listing/ showings/ negotiations/offers/ appraisals) was done while I was on vacation and he managed it every step of the way. I got back from my vacation and had my check in the bank in less than 2 weeks. I can't recommend him enough. We closed quickly and exceeded our asking price expectations by 70k. As someone trapped with the makeup of a Perfectionist, few services and very few providers impress me -- David Goodman has been a bright example otherwise! I am exceptionally pleased that I selected David (from five interviewed agents) to represent my elderly mother's home sale in Del Mar. Past experience with realtors have left me feeling like the agents were most interested in minimizing their effort, and maximizing their likelihood of an easier sales cycle at my expense. He has contacts with contractors who were able to fix the few repairs that were needed before listing the house and as a result there were no surprises at the time of the inspection.
