David Hankey

David L. Hankey practices in the areas of corporate, employment, and insurance law. Among his clients are some of the country’s largest staffing and recruitment firms, along with several insurers and insurance brokers. His practice includes advising on commercial transactions of various kinds, employment disputes, trade secret protection, and non-competition agreement drafting and enforcement. He has practiced with a large national law firm, and one of the world’s largest financial services companies. David was a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore Law School, and has taught continuing education courses for the Maryland Bar Association’s Maryland Institute for Continuing Education for Lawyers (MICPEL). He likewise lectures frequently for business and non-profit groups on issues pertaining to employment law. David is a member of the Maryland Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for District Seven.
